Bonotto created "Panorama Italia" for Casa Italia for the 2024 Paris Games. A 30-square-meter textile tapestry to celebrate our country and the athletes.
Set up in the large ovoid hall, the work designed by Giovanni Bonotto, Florentina Isac, and Marco Bianchini depicts the map of Italy and its 20 regions through some of the enlightened figures of Italian history, a successful entrepreneurial innovation, a typical culinary dish, and symbolic architecture.
The tapestry was created using recycled materials, paying homage to the circular economy and using artificial intelligence technologies applied to graphic design, through AI by H-Farm.
The construction lasted 2 years and involved 12 people for a total of 1500 hours of work.
